Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have soreness in the left buttock and sometimes in the left hip after walking for standing for more than five minutes. No soreness when seated or lying down. Able to ride an exercise bike without any soreness. I ve seen a chiropractor, no issues with the spine. I ve had the soreness for two weeks. Trying to decide what next steps to pursue.
Your symptoms seem to be related to myalgia. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day. I also recommend using anti-inflammatory cream for local treatment such as Voltaren gel. You can use heat compresses for local relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
General & Family Physician
